Our Guarantee To You

We guarantee to provide you with the best possible service and advice from our offices and distribution centre here in the UK at Wolverhampton.

3 Year Guarantee for items purchased from our webshop

 For additional reassurance, items purchased from our webshop, www.kuhnrikon.ie, are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. If a manufacturing defect is found we will be happy to repair or replace your product and we’ll cover all delivery charges.

Items purchased through our authorised retailers are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of at least 2 years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Proof of purchase must be provided in order to validate these claims. If a manufacturing defect is found we will be happy to repair or replace your product.

10 Year Guarantee

Many of our products are guaranteed for longer. A number of products are guaranteed for 10 years, including: Duromatic Pressure Cooker pans, Hot Pan cookware, Durotherm cookware, Montreux cookware, Daily cookware, Black Star Frying Pans, Silver Star stainless steel Frying Pans and Swiss Multi-Ply stainless steel frying pans. All guarantees cover defective workmanship and materials.

How To Claim

Please do not return products to us unless we have asked you to do so. In the first instance please contact us to discuss the problem - email or phone Customer Services (tel. +44 (0)1902 458410 – Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm).

We might just need a photograph of the product, or we might ask you to carefully pack the item and return it to us, in which case we will provide a Royal Mail returns label.

We will need proof of purchase (a receipt or your email order confirmation). If products are deemed to be faulty we will repair or replace the product under the terms of our guarantee to you.

Our guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Manufacturing Defects

A manufacturing defect is defined as any fault in the product’s materials or workmanship, which is present at time of purchase or develops after normal use.

Damages caused as a result of the following conditions are not classed as manufacturing defects, and will not be covered by our guarantee:

  • Accidental damage
  • Acceptable (normal) wear and tear (e.g. Pressure cooker spare parts)
  • Damage caused by abuse or negligence
  • Staining caused by strongly coloured foods/spices
  • Melting caused by overheating
  • Scoring of boards

We will not guarantee products which:

  • Have not been used or maintained in accordance with the Use and Care Instructions
  • Any product which has been modified or repaired by anyone other than Kuhn Rikon UK Ltd
  • Were purchased as pre-owned, refurbished or sold as seen
  • Were purchased via an unauthorised reseller
